ir. I. van der Werf

PhD student
Signal Processing Systems (SPS), Department of Microelectronics

Expertise: audio signal processing; underwater communication

Themes: Signal processing for communication

Biography

Starting in August 2022, Ids is a PhD student at SPS with Richard Hendriks, working on a project about underwater communications, more specifically about creating a high bandwidth, doppler tolerant communication link. The project is a collaboration between TNO (a dutch research institute), the NLDA (Dutch defence academy) and the TU Delft.

Ids received the MSc degree from TU Delft in April 2022, on the topic of gridless sound field reconstruction.
